MIDCUTICON Kerala 2026 is the annual mid-year academic conference of IADVL Kerala, proudly hosted by the Palakkad Dermatology Club. The conference will be held on 17 May 2026 at the C-Cube Convention Centre, Palakkad.

MIDCUTICON Kerala 2026 – Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract Submission is open only for IADVL Kerala Members (LM/PLM).
  • Last Date of Abstract Submission is May 10th (Midnight).
  • Abstracts can be submitted in three categories:
    • Award Paper
    • Free Paper
    • E-Poster

Award Papers

  • Submission can be done under two categories:
    • i) Case Report
    • ii) Research Study
    Not more than one in each category from a Medical College.
  • Only Provisional Life Members (PLMs) of Kerala IADVL pursuing postgraduate courses in medical colleges within Kerala can submit award papers.
  • The Title of the presentation (abstract not required) should be mailed to scientificmidcuticonkerala26@gmail.com, forwarded with the approval of the Head of the Department.
  • Presentation time:
    • Case Report – 6 minutes
    • Research Study – 7 minutes

Free Papers

  • Only PLM/LM of Kerala IADVL can submit Free Papers.
  • Free papers can be based on rare case reports, case series, or short original research works. Innovations and original works will be given more weightage.
  • The abstract (not more than 300 words) can be submitted to scientificmidcuticonkerala26@gmail.com.
  • The time allotted for presentation is 7 minutes.
  • Abstracts not included in the Free Paper category due to time constraints may be considered under the E-Poster category. Communication regarding this will be completed before 14th May.

E-Posters – Case Reports & Research Studies

  • Only Life Members or Provisional Life Members of IADVL Kerala can submit abstracts for E-Posters.
  • One person can submit only one E-Poster; however, he/she may be co-author of more than one E-Poster.
  • E-Posters should be original works – either Case Reports or Research Studies.
  • Case Report abstract (not more than 300 words) should include:
    • Introduction
    • Case Report
    • Highlights
  • Research Study abstract (not more than 300 words) should include:
    • Introduction
    • Objectives
    • Materials and Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions
